Convert Opera Passwords to XML

To use Opera's passwords in K-Meleon export a comma-separated value (CSV) file from Opera, convert it into a K-Meleon Password Extractor XML file with this page, and open the XML file in K-Meleon using the Password Extractor. Check out the online K-Meleon documentation for more information. To export your passwords from Opera:

  1. Open Opera, enable the sidebar, and click on Settings (gear icon in left-hand menu).
  2. Click on Advanced and then Privacy.
  3. Under Autofill, go to Passwords
  4. Click on the 3 dots icon next to Saved Passwords and choose Export Passwords.
  5. When prompted, enter your computer's password and click OK.
  6. Choose a file name and the CSV file format to save your passwords.

Once you have a CSV file, click the button below. Select your file, click open, and a converted XML will download. Open that XML file with Password Extractor. Note that this script runs entirely on your computer and involves no third parties. You can even download this page and run it disconnected from the internet.
