Convert Microsoft Edge Passwords to XML

To use Microsoft Edge's passwords in K-Meleon export a comma-separated value (CSV) file from Edge, convert it into a K-Meleon Password Extractor XML file with this page, and open the XML file in K-Meleon using the Password Extractor. Check out the online K-Meleon documentation for more information. To export your passwords from Edge:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge, select Menu (3 dots icon on the top right corner of the browser), and then Settings > Import or Export.
  2. Select the Password option.
  3. Click the 3 dots beside saved passwords and select Export Password.
  4. Enter your computer's password and click the OK button.
  5. Choose a file name and export your passwords to a CSV file.

Once you have a CSV file, click the button below. Select your file, click open, and a converted XML will download. If a warning pops up, click to allow the download. Open that XML file with Password Extractor. Note that this script runs entirely on your computer and involves no third parties. You can even download this page and run it disconnected from the internet.
